Hello, my name is Juc [pronounced Yuts]. I work as an electronic live act, composer, producer, Ableton Live instructor, singer and as a voice-over artist.
Between atmospheric soundscapes and my sometimes classical, sometimes modern voice, I build arcs of tension that wait to burst into endorphin-soaked catharsis. My concerts oscillate between being extremely danceable and inspiring the urge to lie down on the floor and soak it all in with closed eyes.
I have a particular soft spot for genre-defying music—intersectionality also makes music so much richer than traditional genre thinking. Supporting FLINTA+ artists is also especially important to me. I don’t believe there are only a few of us; rather, because of the prevailing patriarchal structures of the music industry, we are simply not visible.

Together with the production music label Sonoton, I wrote and compiled an electronic album with three other Munich FLINTA* artists. Sonoton became aware of me and my network through we are subjects and proposed this collaboration.

The queer-feminist DJ and producer collective advocates for greater visibility and more diverse line-ups in Munich’s club scene. We run DJ and production workshops, organize rehearsals for newcomers in real clubs, engage in feminist educational work, and host our own events. I am currently a board member. In 2024 we won the Bavarian Pop Award for Social Sustainability.

For the International Womxn's Day, I teamed up with WUT to organize a two-day event featuring workshops, live acts, and a FLINTA* networking session for music creators and industry professionals. Among other things, I was responsible for booking the live acts and running the networking event. I also set up a database where FLINTA* artists from Munich can register. The event was funded by the City of Munich.

This concert series for electronic FLINTA* solo live acts in southern Germany took place in Munich. It comprised three editions, each featuring two live acts and one DJ. The aim was to raise the visibility of this very small group of musicians—a group I count myself among. We are subjects was funded by the City of Munich and through Neustart Kultur, and it received broader regional media attention.
I love and appreciate electronic music for its structure —and the opportunity to break it. For me, true freedom is possible only when there is a defined framework for action. Without it, there is no (moral) orientation—and nothing to position yourself against. The absence of rules means the absence of choice—but who are we if we cannot choose our own destiny?
Hedonism is my life philosophy. I try to live a pleasant and fulfilling life by doing as few things as possible that don’t bring me pleasure. The Greek philosopher Epicurus viewed hedonism as the pursuit of ataraxia, or perfect peace of mind—achieved through sensual pleasures that do no harm and allow us to live happy, healthy lives.
This, of course, stands in stark contrast to what our churches have taught us for millennia, which continues to shape our society to this day. “That’s completely unreasonable—you’ll never amount to anything that way!” I keep hearing my inner dictator shout. Naturally, this dictator has been strictly schooled by our social norms and various (capitalist) narratives that suggest only hard, joyless work leads to real success. I see it differently.

I composed my first piano pieces at the tender age of six years old. By nine I was already playing on my father’s synths, turning our hobby room into a Blümchen-inspired happy-hardcore rave. After an extended journey through different genres, I revived this passion for electronic music for Juc in 2019—and since 2022 have taken on commissions for other artists, publishers, and labels, as well as work in the video-games industry as part of Active Fungus Studios.
My musical background includes a classical education in piano and voice, four years in a Balkan band, experience as an alto in classical vocal ensembles and choirs, and several rock and metal bands. Alongside all of this—and a childhood spent as a studio singer for Disney—I bring extensive studio experience.

Since 2015, I have been self-employed as a web designer, copywriter, and communications consultant. I am devoted to digital storytelling—every company has a story worth telling. In addition, I teach FLINTA* WordPress courses at various adult-education centers.

Since 2020, we have been developing video games as experiences that both entertain and allow our players to immerse themselves deeply in each topic, inspiring reflection. Our aim is not only to entertain with our games but also to highlight social issues. We focus on historical events whose impact is still felt today.
